Delayed posts.

So I wanted to first apologize for not posting the last few days.  I had my skin removal the 21st of September and the last few days were rough.  I was finally able to get the last drain removed today which really helps with the pain level.

So one of the things I already knew about myself but tends to come out on times like this is that I do not do well being helpless.  This surgery is one that really makes you be that way.  I was not able to bend or even lift anything over a pound.  Which mean means a bottle of water is bout all I could do.  I’ve been blessed that I have had a great support system in my friends and family .  I have to say that it’s still been really rough.

Remember this guy’s when you have the skin removal it’s a long healing process.

So skinny fat girl fact:

1)   Get prepared to have a cushion with you in your car.  Your butt gets bony wow i don’t remember when I was young and thin that it hurt like this.  I have a problem even if I set to long in a chair or on my bed my butt starts to hurt.  Now mind you it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to pay,  I just want the rest of you to be prepared for it.

So I’m going to sign off tonight and try to rest some more since I am still recovering and all.

Hope you are all enjoying the few posts I’ve made.  Remember to show your sisters some love!!!

Don’t forget where you started.

This site and blog i hope will help those women that have had weight loss surgery and became a better version of themselves stay grounded.

I will include some of the things I have learned along the way about adjusting to the every day life as that skinny girl.

I look forward to getting to know those that may follow this blog and hope they can learn from and help each other along the way.
